OUR IMPACT

CONTRIBUTED (JMD) TO JAMAICA COLLEGE & COUNTING

The Jamaica College Old Boys Association of New York is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, incorporated in the State of New York. The association supports academic, extracurricular and infrastructure programs at Jamaica College.

In addition to our intellectual capital that has sparked innovation at JC, for over three decades we have been a steady, consistent and reliable resource for our alma mater.

Since our founding in 1990, the Jamaica College Old Boys Association of New York contributed over JMD 281 Million Dollars in cash and kind to Jamaica College. In addition, our main benefactor, Dr. Joseph Tait ('53) has made the single largest cash contribution of JMD 97 Million Dollars to support academics at JC. Hence, the total financial impact (and counting) from your New York Chapter is a respectful JMD 378 Million Dollars.

We inspire students at Jamaica College and throughout Jamaica to become science and technology leaders, by enabling STEM & Robotics development. The Jamaica College Old Boys Association of New York also conducts community outreach programs in health, culture and sports in the Northeast USA. Our mission is powered by forging strategic alliances, leveraging intellectual capital, through project fundraising and by providing technical assistance.

We spark innovation.
